Finally did it. Nancy and I went to Mexico and saw:

Chichen Itza!!!

Guys and gals…if you *ever* want or get the chance to explore an ancient civilization….you need to visit the ruins at Chichen Itza.

I’ve crossed it off my “do list”, but there are so many other ancient ruins in the Yucatan and surrounding Belize..etc.

Still have a few days left in Mexico, and loving the hosptality.

I’ll come back and add some video and pics later..

Hmm…

A large coffee at the famous Canadian coffee purveyor is $1.52 , including tax.

I asked for 3 large double-doubles…and the bill came to $4.92……..NOT $4.56…no price increases….no nothing..I asked the drive-thru girl why is it $4.92 versus $4.56?
“That’s what it says on the screen”…was the snappy reply…and she quickly snatched the $5.00 from my hands, and handed me my coffees…

Last check with my math, and using a calculator…3 * 1.52 still equals $4.56..

I’ll buy my Timmins coffee still, albeit one at a time…

Global warming…

Thank Gawd for global warming. This last winter I paid less to heat my home, and have my driveway plowed.

I can already see the grass on my lawns and the snow (what little there was) has already started to receed. It’s still early March.

I’m really digging this climate change stuff.

I think I’ll go light the BBQ and stuff more CO2 into the atmosphere, just to help “global warming” along a bit…

Finally found a few minutes to start working on this site. I’ve been super busy trying to get my web hosting ‘hobby’ up and running.
